Fannish Interests: shoujo animanga, the neoromance franchise (those are dating sims btw), vkei, still have a soft spot for jrpgs but i haven't played a bunch

Books: From Far Away, Yotsuba&!, Azumanga Daioh, Witch Hat Atelier, Princess Jellyfish, various Year 24 works
Music: BUCK-TICK; beyond that i care more about individual songs than whole discogs. mostly listen to r&b, rock (which is mostly MCR and 90s/early 00s vkei), hip hop, so on and so forth into infinity. check the last.fm link in my profile if you use it

I like to post about: cartoons and video games that absolutely didn't have me as the target audience (like, stuff for girls, but i'm not a girl lol), my beautiful life, whatever i'm currently enjoying, art because i draw, photography because i take photos, translation because i translate, and i like to share links (which are mostly about leftism, history, language, cultures, ~otaku~ stuff, race, webcomics, etc.)
About Me/Other Info: in all areas, i mostly like things from around the time i was born and earlier. it's hard to find people with similar interests in 2025, as you can imagine. i give up! so instead, i'm looking for people who wouldn't mind having someone like me on their reading page, and in exchange i'll keep an open mind about your interests too <3 i have lots of public posts, so feel free to look around and judge me for yourself!
my fandom-related limits are: no one who mostly posts about live-action shows unless the casts are all or mostly poc, and no netflixvania
a non-fandom-related limit is no bigots, with a special emphasis on transphobes and people who are weird about black people.
i kinda know japanese and spanish too, if that means anything to anyone.
